Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomás Cunha took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bento Alves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Cunha's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Tomás Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Alves having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Rodrigo Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Achete's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bento Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 22 minutes, Fernando Valente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Achete and the SC Valonga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernando Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Heitor Veiga came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Valonga's Vicente Fontes. But to his dismay, Vicente Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When André Morais fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Valonga's protests and gave André Morais a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SC Valonga getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. André Morais hit a great ball. If Alfredo Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute, Alfredo Rocha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Heitor Veiga. The goal made the score 2-0. Vicente Fontes in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Heitor Veiga, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Heitor Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 43 minutes in the game, Alfredo Rocha fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Heitor Veiga having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Rocha made a kick off. Bento Alves made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Rodrigo Leite sent off a good shot on target. Heitor Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The audience was convinced that Vicente Fontes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Heitor Veiga was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Tomás Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Valonga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. SC Valonga's Alfredo Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Fontes in the 72nd minute of play forced SC Achete's goalkeeper Heitor Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SC Achete booed when SC Valonga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Amaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, SC Valonga's goalkeeper Bento Alves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Leite. Heitor Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heitor Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Fontes in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to SC Achete getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Rodrigo Leite hit a great ball. Alfredo Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Heitor Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Valonga's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
