António Viegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 played minutes, Pomarao's Joaquim Fontes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henrique Nogueira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pomarao reached it. The audience was convinced that Fernando Matias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrique Nogueira was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 40th play minute José Leiria came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised António Pacheco. 1-0. Bemfeita's Henrique Nogueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Bemfeita from getting a goal against them. Eduardo Valente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrique Nogueira having to make a save. Eduardo Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. The Bemfeita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Eduardo Valente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Henrique Nogueira made a huge save. António Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Amaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, José Leiria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bemfeita's supporters rose to their feet, but José Leiria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Pacheco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
