Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luís Martins made the kick off which started today's match. Luís Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Daniel Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Balcas's zone, Luís Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Mota came out of the goal and Luís Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Luís Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Confulcos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Mota having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Manuel Garcia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Carlos Gaspar, passed just outside the right post. In the 30th minute, Confulcos FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marco Soares fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 32 minutes of play, Confulcos FC's Luís Martins made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Mota was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marco Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Gaspar having to interfere. Confulcos FC's Carlos Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Garcia in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Confulcos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Carlos Gaspar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 44th minute Manuel Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marco Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Manuel Garcia made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Balcas's goalkeeper Daniel Mota had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hélder Moura. Bento Almeida hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Luís Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hélder Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Mota having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Bento Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balcas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Confulcos FC the free kick. If Marco Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Soares in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Gaspar saved Confulcos FC from getting behind. Carlos Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Garcia in the 93rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Hélder Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Confulcos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélder Moura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Hélder Moura put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Mota. The Balcas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Confulcos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Confulcos FC.
