Viriato Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Veiga having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Trafaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Maia to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Diamantino Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trafaria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diamantino Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viriato Rocha in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristiano Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 played minutes Montemor FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Coimbra. In the 33rd minute of the match Américo Ribeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mário Mendes skillfully saved the ball. When Diamantino Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Trafaria FC fans jumped to their feet.
