Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Basílio Moutinho made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, Gigante's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Valente came free, but Américo Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gigante's zone, Vicente Valente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Américo Gaspar came out of the goal and Vicente Valente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Américo Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Moutinho in the 10th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Vicente Valente sped through Gigante's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Américo Gaspar. Jorge Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Moniz in the 16th minute of the match. Rodrigo Moniz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Basílio Moutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Galo's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Moutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Américo Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Gigante getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. David Paredes hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, SC Galo's Henrique Tavares tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. SC Galo's Jorge Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save SC Galo from getting a goal against them. Rodrigo Moniz hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When David Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Gigante fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Queirós couldn't finish the play. If Rodrigo Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basílio Moutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, David Paredes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gigante's supporters rose to their feet, but David Paredes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If David Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Moniz made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Gigante's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Moutinho came free, but Américo Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Galo's Jorge Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Moniz in the 57th minute of play. In the 60thth minute of the game Basílio Moutinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gigante's Américo Gaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Afonso Morais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Vicente Valente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Américo Gaspar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. David Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute, David Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basílio Moutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Américo Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Paredes charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Paredes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th match minute, Gigante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Paredes to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Valente was extremely unlucky when he, in the 78th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 80th minute, Rodrigo Moniz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Leão was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Rodrigo Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 played minutes, Gigante's Jorge Esteves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jorge Leão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gigante reached it. In the 92nd minute, Rodrigo Moniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 100th minute of the match Fernando Macedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Leão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
