Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rodrigo Moniz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Alcochete's Duarte Gonçalves got a free kick in the 6th minute. Manuel Borba was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jorge Macedo. Rodrigo Moniz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Gigante's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Jorge Esteves fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gigante's protests and gave Jorge Esteves a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Alcochete booed when Gigante was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Américo Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. José Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Américo Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rodrigo Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Campos struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Américo Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcochete. After a defensive mix-up in Gigante's zone, Daniel Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Américo Gaspar came out of the goal and Daniel Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Gigante defense, José Campos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Américo Gaspar. The Gigante fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Américo Gaspar should have stopped the shot. Gigante's Américo Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Cruz in the 36th minute of play. Manuel Borba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Moniz in the 37th minute of the match. Manuel Borba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Moniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 47th play minutes Rodrigo Moniz shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Manuel Borba and just under the crossbar into goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Queirós in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Borba saved Alcochete from getting behind. Gigante's Américo Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Campos in the 89th minute of play. Manuel Borba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Moniz in the 90th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gigante had won after a very even match.
