Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Giraldos's Augusto Leão in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Arrega's goalie prevented a goal. In the 10th minute Oliveira Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiago Baptista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Ramos in the 14th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Augusto Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Giraldos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Leão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot by Ricardo Borba from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Tiago Baptista's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tiago Baptista made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Joaquim Ramos sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 23 minutes, Oliveira Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Arrega's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliveira Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Daniel Neto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Arrega's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Giraldos the free kick. In the 29th match minute, SC Arrega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Neto to maneuver through the defense. When Augusto Leão came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Giraldos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Leão couldn't finish the play. If Ricardo Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliveira Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Leão in the 42nd minute of play.

After a rather tough play, SC Arrega's Gonçalo Costa got a free kick in the 52nd minute. SC Arrega's Manuel Gomes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save SC Arrega from getting a goal against them. Augusto Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Gomes having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Giraldos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Santarém to maneuver through the defense. Oliveira Viana's late challenge caught a Giraldos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliveira Viana helped the player get up and apologised. Oliveira Viana hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Augusto Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliveira Viana in the 76th minute of play forced Giraldos's goalkeeper Tiago Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Giraldos's goal looked a bit too open when Oliveira Viana came free, but Tiago Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Arrega's André Castro got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 87 played minutes SC Arrega got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Neto. Ricardo Pinheiro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 89th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of SC Arrega booed when Giraldos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Santarém didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Gomes having to interfere. When the match was over Giraldos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SC Arrega throughout the match.
