Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, SC Marco's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Jesus came free, but Rui Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Duarte Teixeira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rui Almeida. SC Marco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duarte Teixeira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Adelino Gonçalves charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adelino Gonçalves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adelino Gonçalves hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Afonso Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rafael Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Teixeira in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes SC Marco got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Torres. Rui Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duarte Teixeira's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Afonso Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Ferreira having to interfere. Rafael Ferreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Esteves in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute of the match Albertino Soares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Ferreira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Afonso Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Ferreira having to interfere. If Adelino Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Esteves hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

Rafael Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Afonso Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Marco's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Vieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ricardo Marques fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almacinha FC's protests and gave Ricardo Marques a yellow card for diving instead. Ricardo Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Duarte Teixeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Rui Almeida made a huge save. In the 68th minute of the match, Emanuel Jesus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rui Almeida saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Jesus in the 74th minute of play forced SC Marco's goalkeeper Rui Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Emanuel Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Emanuel Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Marco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almacinha FC the free kick. A collision led to SC Marco getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Emanuel Torres hit a great ball. Duarte Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Almacinha FC's zone, Afonso Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Ferreira came out of the goal and Afonso Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 93 played minutes Almacinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Matias. 94 minutes into the match, SC Marco's Sérgio Resende sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Ferreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafael Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Vieira in the 96th minute of play. The Almacinha FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Almacinha FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
