Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pedro Nunes made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Vermelha getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Alfredo Macedo hit a great ball. Cândido Assunção made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Nunes in the 5th minute of play. Tomás Assis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Cândido Assunção made a huge save. Sandro Campos came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Vermelha's Américo Teixeira. But to his dismay, Américo Teixeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Veral FC's zone, Diogo Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandro Campos came out of the goal and Diogo Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 21 minutes, Rafael Amaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Veral FC and the Vermelha players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Veral FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Amaro. Américo Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Sandro Campos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vermelha. 25 minutes into the match, Vermelha's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Nunes came free, but Cândido Assunção reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vermelha's Cândido Assunção proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Vermelha from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Carlos Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vermelha's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Campos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Assis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Assunção having to interfere. Carlos Torres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sandro Campos having to make a save. Carlos Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Cândido Assunção stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Assis's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Vermelha's Cândido Assunção played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Nunes in the 55th minute of play. After 57 minutes, André Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vermelha and the Veral FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vermelha's André Neves got a free kick in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Américo Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Veral FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Carlos Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Campos having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Sandro Campos, was totally fooled by Vermelha's Augusto Baptista, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 83rd minute, Carlos Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Américo Teixeira in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandro Campos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 86 minutes into the match, Veral FC's goalkeeper Sandro Campos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Torres. Rafael Amaro scored 2-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cândido Assunção, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Sandro Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
