SC Goes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nuno Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuno Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes SC Bioucas got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Cunha. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Resende in the 28th minute of play forced SC Bioucas's goalkeeper Eusébio Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Monteiro in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, SC Bioucas's goalkeeper Eusébio Faria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Santos. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sérgio Monteiro to make the kick off. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. David Resende blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusébio Faria having to make a save. 71 minutes into the match, SC Bioucas's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Santos came free, but Eusébio Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Tiago Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Bioucas's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
