Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vítor Esteves took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Armindo Viana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boticas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luís Ribeiro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Henrique Pereira. David Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Luís Ribeiro made a huge save. Augusto Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sula's Nuno Moura got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Vítor Esteves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sula's Fábio Coelho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The attack was good, but when Vítor Esteves in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertino Baptista got free with Luís Ribeiro in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Esteves in the 47th minute of play forced Sula's goalkeeper Fábio Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Dantas made a kick off. Joaquim Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sula booed when Boticas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Esteves in the 56th minute of play. In the 66th minute Albertino Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Boticas FC's Rogério Figueiredo got a free kick in the 66th minute. Fábio Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 85 minutes into the match, Boticas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Dantas came free, but Luís Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Augusto Dantas put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Luís Ribeiro. If Albertino Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
