Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abel Azevedo got the match started through his kick off. Rafael Abreu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 4th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rafael Lopes. 4 minutes into the game, Joaquim Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estremadouro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Assumadas the free kick. Abel Azevedo took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Abreu. Rafael Abreu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Cláudio Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Inácio Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estremadouro FC. When Abel Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the SC Assumadas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Joaquim Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Ramos having to interfere. When Cláudio Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estremadouro FC's protests and gave Cláudio Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. Cláudio Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Rafael Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Azevedo in the 23rd minute of play. Cândido Leal hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. SC Assumadas's Inácio Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Amorim in the 30th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Estremadouro FC's goalkeeper Rafael Abreu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeu Marques. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Azevedo in the 38th minute of play forced Estremadouro FC's goalkeeper Rafael Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Abreu having to make a save. Rafael Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cláudio Pinheiro made a kick off. After 55 played minutes, SC Assumadas's Jorge Matos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafael Abreu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Assumadas reached it. 66 minutes into the match, Abel Azevedo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Estremadouro FC's Rafael Abreu. Rafael Abreu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 70 minutes into the match, SC Assumadas's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Pinheiro came free, but Inácio Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Amadeu Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Inácio Ramos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cláudio Pinheiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 84 minute of play. In the 87th minute, Abel Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Estremadouro FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
