Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alexandre Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Azevedo in the 4th minute of the match. In the 6thth minute of the game Abel Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosal FC's Alexandre Araújo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of SC Assumadas booed when Rosal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th match minute, SC Assumadas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílcar Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Abel Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Araújo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Abel Soares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inácio Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Hugo Nunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Inácio Ramos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugo Nunes ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Rosal FC's Alexandre Araújo got control of the ball when Adelino Paredes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute Abel Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel Soares was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Abel Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Assumadas's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abel Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Araújo having to interfere. Cândido Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Abel Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Adelino Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Alexandre Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Amadeu Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Abel Azevedo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Rosal FC's Alexandre Araújo. Alexandre Araújo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 86 in the game by Bruno Aleixo from a close distance when the talented Inácio Ramos managed to make a qualified save. SC Assumadas's players were relieved. When Abel Soares came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Rosal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Soares couldn't finish the play.
