Jorge Pedroso was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 15 played minutes Conlela FC got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Campos. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Miranda in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Pedroso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Basílio Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Setúbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jorge Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Marco Pacheco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Pedroso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the Conlela FC defense, Marco Pacheco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Pedroso. The Conlela FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Pedroso should have stopped the shot. If Marco Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Jorge Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Conlela FC reached it. Basílio Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Viana's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Bessa during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Sá helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Minhotais got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Sá. Minhotais's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
