Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rui Gaspar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Sadoncelho's Simão Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Setúbal in the 5th minute of play. If Fábio Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Arentim booed when Sadoncelho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Arentim's Vasco Lima got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Basílio Garcia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Fonseca skillfully saved the ball. When Rui Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Sadoncelho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Gaspar couldn't finish the play. Rui Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Fonseca having to interfere. Sadoncelho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Fábio Setúbal scored to the left of an out of position Simão Sousa, making the score, 1-0. Fábio Setúbal might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simão Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fábio Setúbal ran back to his position shaking his head. Arentim's Vasco Lima got his second yellow card of the match in the 29th minute. The referee ordered Vasco Lima off the ground. A collision led to Arentim getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Vasco Lima hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Viana in the 37th minute of play forced Arentim's goalkeeper Bernardo Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sadoncelho's zone, António Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simão Sousa came out of the goal and António Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquim Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th match minute, Sadoncelho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Dias to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when António Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rui Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Fonseca having to interfere. The attack was good, but when António Santos in the 62nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. António Santos took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simão Sousa. Simão Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 77 minutes into the match, Sadoncelho's goal looked a bit too open when António Santos came free, but Simão Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rui Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sadoncelho's Joaquim Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simão Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Santos in the 82nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Veiga during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 86 minutes into the game, one of Arentim:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rui Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Bernardo Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
