A collision led to Sadoncelho getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Luís Sousa hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Mourilhe FC's José Martins sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simão Sousa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Simão Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Mourilhe FC booed when Sadoncelho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mourilhe FC's Oliveira Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Viana in the 25th minute of play. Rui Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Sadoncelho's goal looked a bit too open when José Martins came free, but Simão Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Martins in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simão Sousa saved Sadoncelho from getting behind. Cláudio Resende's late challenge caught a Sadoncelho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cláudio Resende helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Cláudio Resende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

53 minutes into the match, Sadoncelho's Rui Gaspar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oliveira Viana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cláudio Resende hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Mourilhe FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joaquim Viana fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 58 minutes into the match, Sadoncelho's goal looked a bit too open when José Martins came free, but Simão Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, one of Sadoncelho:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Mourilhe FC a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Heitor Amorim, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sadoncelho's Simão Sousa. 2-0. Oliveira Viana made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Joaquim Viana sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th match minute, Mourilhe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Henriques to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Cláudio Resende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Gaspar in the 75th minute of play forced Mourilhe FC's goalkeeper Oliveira Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Simão Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sadoncelho's Simão Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Martins in the 81st minute of play. If Joaquim Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joaquim Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oliveira Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Gaspar in the 89th minute of play. Oliveira Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sadoncelho players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mourilhe FC.
