Joaquim Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Andrade having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Daniel Valente managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Laveiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Valente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Ferro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, SC Laveiras's Gonçalo Leite got a free kick in the 9th minute. Pedro Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Figueiredo in the 14th minute of the match. Pedro Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Trindade, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. A collision led to SC Laveiras getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Vicente Rocha hit a great ball. After 23 played minutes SC Laveiras got a freekick which was hit by André Assis. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Jorge Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lagomar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gonçalo Leite made a kick off. After 53 minutes Lagomar FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alexandre Leal who took care of the corner kick. The corner led SC Laveiras's Vicente Rocha to fire away a dangerous shot which Ricardo Ferro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ricardo Ferro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Leite in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Armando Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Figueiredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute of the match, Joaquim Trindade tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Andrade saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pedro Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Trindade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, SC Laveiras's goal looked a bit too open when Lourenço Castro came free, but Pedro Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Trindade in the 75th minute of play forced SC Laveiras's goalkeeper Pedro Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SC Laveiras getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. André Assis hit a great ball. The supporters of Lagomar FC booed when SC Laveiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Assis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The shot was stopped by Pedro Andrade but with some difficulty. 88 minutes into the match, Lagomar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Leite came free, but Ricardo Ferro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonçalo Leite in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Ferro saved Lagomar FC from getting behind. Daniel Valente took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Ferro. Ricardo Ferro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Laveiras fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lagomar FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
