Raposa's Domingos Cabral pulled a muscle in his leg after 9 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Lourenço Castro's late challenge caught a Raposa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lourenço Castro helped the player get up and apologised. Pedro Barros's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Ricardo Ferro on his right side and into the goal. 11 minutes into the game it was 0-1. Emanuel Setúbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Ferro having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Jorge Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lagomar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Alfredo Cunha managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Lagomar FC's Jorge Figueiredo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Joaquim Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Cunha having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Raposa's Vicente Jesus got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Lagomar FC's Jorge Figueiredo got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Emanuel Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raposa's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Setúbal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Ferro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Ferro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Setúbal's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Alfredo Cunha made a fantastic save in the 49th minute, when Armando Ferreira sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Trindade made a kick off. Alfredo Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Trindade in the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Emanuel Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raposa's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Setúbal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Ferro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Raposa's zone, Joaquim Trindade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Cunha came out of the goal and Joaquim Trindade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th match minute, Lagomar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Raposa booed when Lagomar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jorge Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 94 minutes, Emanuel Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raposa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Setúbal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Ferro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Setúbal in the 97th minute. The Lagomar FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Raposa's performance. The match ended with a win for Raposa.
