The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Valente got free with Bento Amorim in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Daniel Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, SC Laveiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Nunes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Reis in the 90th minute of play forced SC Laveiras's goalkeeper Pedro Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Raul Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Fermontelos's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Laveiras walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
