Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Canados FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Baptista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tiago Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Amadeu Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Simão Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago Teixeira in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Baptista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Manuel Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd match minute, Codecais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Tiago Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canados FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simão Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Carvalho's late challenge caught a Canados FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Codecais's Jacinto Carvalho got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Manuel Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Humberto Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simão Dias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Baptista having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amadeu Miranda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Codecais's Amadeu Miranda in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Canados FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Amaral during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lourenço Rocha tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Miguel Lopes. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-0 in the 55th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Simão Dias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Humberto Baptista. Simão Dias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. After taking down the ball on Codecais's corner Artur Jesus fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Miguel Lopes quite easily take care of the ball. Miguel Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Assis, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 84th minute of the match Marco Mota shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Baptista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 85th minute, Tiago Teixeira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Tiago Teixeira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Simão Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Codecais could leave the field as winners, despite Canados FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
