Filipe Resende's late challenge caught a SC Magoute's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe Resende helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cossourado getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Filipe Resende hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute Rui Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Jesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Magoute fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! SC Magoute's Amadeu Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Resende in the 96th minute of play. Joaquim Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Joaquim Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
