Carlos Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Leão having to interfere. José Moura struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Domingos Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sardoura. A collision led to SC Galizas getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Armando Guarda hit a great ball. José Moura in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Domingos Leão, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sardoura's Pedro Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Guarda in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, José Moura notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SC Galizas's Domingos Leão. Domingos Leão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute of the match David Leiria shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domingos Leão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 39 minutes, Armando Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sardoura and the SC Galizas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Sardoura got a freekick which was hit by Armando Carvalho. 47 minutes into the match, SC Galizas's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Azevedo came free, but Domingos Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, José Moura made a precise shot to the right of Domingos Leão. SC Galizas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Sardoura's goalkeeper Pedro Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Machado. Armando Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Leão having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Marques in the 58th minute of play forced Sardoura's goalkeeper Pedro Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Leão having to interfere. After 66 played minutes SC Galizas got a freekick which was hit by Abel Castro. Domingos Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Moura in the 68th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Pedro Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sardoura's Pedro Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Sardoura from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Sardoura's Afonso Nascimento got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 86 played minutes Sardoura got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Cardoso. The attack was good, but when Armando Machado in the 87th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Domingos Leão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 96th minute Carlos Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 99th minute, Armando Machado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pedro Leão, passed just outside the right post. Armando Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sardoura's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
