Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vidigueira FC's Cristiano Nunes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Vidigueira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Nascimento came free, but Amadeu Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Vidigueira FC booed when Ouricosa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Delgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingos Gonçalves's late challenge caught a Ouricosa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingos Gonçalves helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Vidigueira FC's zone, Gaspar Faro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu Fonseca came out of the goal and Gaspar Faro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Nunes in the 13th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Abreu during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paulo Abreu hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Tiago Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vidigueira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Lisboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, Henrique Delgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Moutinho, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cristiano Nunes struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Bruno Lisboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vidigueira FC. Tiago Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Lisboa having to interfere. When Vidigueira FC's Cristiano Nunes in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ouricosa FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 30 minutes of play Vidigueira FC's Domingos Gonçalves was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 31st minute, Domingos Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vidigueira FC's Amadeu Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Nascimento in the 39th minute of play. With a little luck, Ouricosa FC's Bruno Lisboa got control of the ball when Tiago Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiago Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Bruno Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastião Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Lisboa having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Cristiano Nunes hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the game, Cristiano Nunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vidigueira FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ouricosa FC the free kick. After 56 played minutes Vidigueira FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Nunes. In the 58th minute of the match, Gaspar Faro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Amadeu Fonseca was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 67th minute, Vidigueira FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gaspar Faro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 69th match minute, Ouricosa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiago Santos during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, Tiago Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeu Fonseca was a little too slow when Adelino Nascimento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-2. 82 minutes into the match, Vidigueira FC's goalkeeper Amadeu Fonseca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspar Faro. In the 86th match minute, Ouricosa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Amadeu Fonseca came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Ouricosa FC's Gaspar Faro. But to his dismay, Gaspar Faro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ouricosa FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
