Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ouricosa FC's Adelino Nascimento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Armando Machado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Bruno Lisboa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 19 minutes into the match, Ouricosa FC's goalkeeper Bruno Lisboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Machado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Nascimento in the 21st minute of play forced SC Galizas's goalkeeper Domingos Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Galizas's Domingos Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Faro in the 22nd minute of play. Adelino Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Domingos Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ouricosa FC. Gaspar Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Domingos Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Armando Brás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingos Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Pedro Marques made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SC Galizas's António Marques got a free kick in the 51st minute. SC Galizas's Armando Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Pedro Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Resende charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Resende the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gaspar Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Domingos Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Resende was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Luís Resende hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Gaspar Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Domingos Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Ouricosa FC's Gaspar Faro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingos Leão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaspar Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Gaspar Faro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
