After 7 played minutes SC Beleco got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Pacheco. Domingos Moutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Trindade in the 13th minute of the match. If Gustavo Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Morais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingos Moutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Trindade in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, SC Beleco's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Morais came free, but Domingos Moutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingos Moutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Trindade, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Gustavo Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rui Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 minutes, Adelino Antunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cassaca FC and the SC Beleco players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Beleco booed when Cassaca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Faro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Rui Teixeira made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Jorge Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Amorim's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Trindade in the 63rd minute of play forced SC Beleco's goalkeeper Domingos Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, SC Beleco's Domingos Moutinho got control of the ball when Rui Morais tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Teixeira having to interfere. The Cassaca FC fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Cassaca FC's Rui Morais looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Gustavo Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Teixeira having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Lúcio Trindade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cassaca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio Trindade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Trindade in the 96th minute of play forced SC Beleco's goalkeeper Domingos Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
