Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Riscada's Inácio Morais started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Codecaes FC's zone, Pedro Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simão Gueifão came out of the goal and Pedro Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inácio Morais was extremely unlucky when he, in the 7th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Delfim Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Campos in the 12th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Codecaes FC's Fábio Campos got a free kick in the 14th minute. Artur Viegas hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Riscada's Ricardo Pedroso broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 19th minute, Gonçalo Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Inácio Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riscada's supporters rose to their feet, but Inácio Morais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simão Gueifão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Riscada's Pedro Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simão Gueifão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Morais in the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Codecaes FC's Artur Viegas got a free kick in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Codecaes FC's zone, Inácio Morais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simão Gueifão came out of the goal and Inácio Morais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inácio Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Gueifão having to interfere. Pedro Baptista came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Simão Gueifão could save by the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fábio Campos to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Codecaes FC got a freekick which was hit by João Correia. When Fábio Campos fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Codecaes FC's protests and gave Fábio Campos a yellow card for diving instead. When Inácio Morais came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Riscada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inácio Morais couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Pedro Baptista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Riscada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Pedro Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-1 became the score in the 74th minute when Luís Branco elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Pedro Baptista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Riscada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Inácio Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Fábio Campos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Riscada getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Cândido Campos hit a great ball.
