Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Filipe Andrade kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Vicente Fonseca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adolfo Matias. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. After 11th play minutes Alexandre Nascimento shot 1-1, a short shot which went by António Lisboa and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 14th minute, Alexandre Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Guarda in the 15th minute of play forced SC Cabos's goalkeeper António Lisboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Filipe Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Matias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Cabos's António Lisboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Guarda in the 21st minute of play. Armindo Freitas charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armindo Freitas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute, Armindo Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armindo Freitas got his second yellow card in the match during the 29th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 30 played minutes Lapinhas got a freekick which was hit by Armindo Freitas. After a rather tough play, SC Cabos's Tomás Matias got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Vicente Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandre Nascimento to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Vicente Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Cabos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Lapinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Andrade came free, but Adolfo Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Guarda charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Guarda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lapinhas getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Rodrigo Guarda hit a great ball. SC Cabos's Rogério Figueiredo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lapinhas. Adolfo Matias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vicente Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the SC Cabos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Fonseca couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute Vicente Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Matias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolfo Matias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Cristiano Trindade hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Vicente Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Adolfo Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Cabos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
