In the 4th minute, Joaquim Gueifão made a precise shot to the right of António Pires. Dornelas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Valente in the 17th minute of play forced Dornelas FC's goalkeeper António Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viriato Costa scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of António Pires, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eusébio Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Gueifão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Pires having to interfere. Rui Machado hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th match minute, Moimentos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute Sandro Valente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Joaquim Gueifão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dornelas FC's António Pires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Moimentos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Hélder Azevedo scored to the left of an out of position Inácio Melo, making the score, 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hélder Azevedo made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Sandro Valente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moimentos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Valente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sandro Valente struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. António Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moimentos FC. If Hélder Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inácio Melo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Hélder Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Hélder Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inácio Melo was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Moimentos FC's Joaquim Gueifão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of António Pires. That made the score 1-4 after 89 minutes of play. In the 93rd match minute, Moimentos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Costa to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Garcia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The Dornelas FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Moimentos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Moimentos FC.
