Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Requiao's David Teixeira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After recieving a nice pass, SC Requiao's Albertino Porto tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ricardo Reis took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Rocha. Cristiano Rocha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, SC Abraa's goalkeeper Hugo Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Valente. If Ricardo Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Pedro Oliveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Abraa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Requiao the free kick. In the 21st match minute, SC Abraa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Valente who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Hugo Amorim when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Teixeira in the 24th minute of play forced SC Abraa's goalkeeper Hugo Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Ricardo Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Henrique Fontes notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of SC Requiao's Cristiano Rocha. Cristiano Rocha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, David Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Requiao's supporters rose to their feet, but David Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Reis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Rocha was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Vítor Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Pedro Valente might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Valente ran back to his position shaking his head. David Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Hugo Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Henrique Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Abraa's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Amorim having to interfere. Ricardo Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albertino Porto hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Ricardo Reis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 82nd minute Tiago Coimbra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Amorim having to interfere. After 88 minutes, Marco Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Abraa and the SC Requiao players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Requiao booed when SC Abraa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Valente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in SC Abraa's zone, Pedro Valente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Amorim came out of the goal and Pedro Valente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Hugo Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
