Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gil Henriques took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Afonso Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, SC Ribafria's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Soares came free, but David Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaspar Pires blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Branco having to make a save. Diamantino Nogueira charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diamantino Nogueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Ribafria getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Diamantino Nogueira hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Massama's Cândido Queirós tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Rafael Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Massama's zone, Afonso Gueifão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bento Vaz came out of the goal and Afonso Gueifão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Henriques in the 23rd minute of play forced Massama's goalkeeper Bento Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Macedo in the 29th minute of play forced SC Ribafria's goalkeeper David Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. David Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 played minutes SC Ribafria got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Soares. In the 41stth minute of the game Rafael Soares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Ribafria's David Branco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Soares was the one to do the kick off. Diamantino Nogueira got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After having played for 62 minutes, Rafael Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Massama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Eusébio Valente notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of SC Ribafria's David Branco. David Branco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 77 played minutes SC Ribafria got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Antunes. After a defensive mix-up in SC Ribafria's zone, Rafael Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Branco came out of the goal and Rafael Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Gil Henriques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Branco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Soares went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Eusébio Valente might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Branco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusébio Valente ran back to his position shaking his head. If Eusébio Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Ribafria's David Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Soares in the 96th minute of play. SC Ribafria's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
