Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Azevedo started the match with the kick off. Alberto Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Reis hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 12 played minutes Lageosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Viana. Oliveira Simões, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Eusébio Pires made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Faria in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, João Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Américo Marques. Labrengos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Américo Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Azevedo in the 20th minute of play. Eusébio Pires made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Faria in the 25th minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Alexandre Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Labrengos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 35 minutes, Alberto Pinto made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lageosa FC's Eusébio Pires tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If João Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Pinto to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lageosa FC's goalkeeper Eusébio Pires, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Lageosa FC's Alberto Figueiredo got a free kick in the 55th minute. Alexandre Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Azevedo in the 65th minute of play forced Labrengos's goalkeeper Américo Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusébio Pires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Pinto went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Lageosa FC's zone, Alexandre Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Pires came out of the goal and Alexandre Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alberto Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Faria struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Eusébio Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Labrengos. Alexandre Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Eusébio Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alberto Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Pinto in the 85th minute of play. João Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Américo Marques having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Lageosa FC got a freekick which was hit by André Henriques. Carlos Vaz hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. In the 100th minute of the match Lageosa FC got a corner. Labrengos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rui Reis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Rui Reis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Labrengos's Américo Marques did a great save. Labrengos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
