Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when João Lisboa got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, João Lisboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carbuelo's supporters rose to their feet, but João Lisboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 5 minutes into the match, Carbuelo's Jorge Amorim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that António Veiga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Gustavo Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 played minutes, Carbuelo's Adelino Santarém shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper António Veiga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carbuelo reached it. 13 minutes into the match, Gaspar Santarém dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rui Setúbal, 1-0. Pedro Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gaspar Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 28 minutes, Gaspar Santarém managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Salgueiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Santarém was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Pedro Matos came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the SC Salgueiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Matos couldn't finish the play. Pedro Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Setúbal having to interfere. Pedro Matos in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rui Setúbal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Gaspar Santarém put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rui Setúbal. Rui Setúbal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gaspar Santarém showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 45 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaspar Santarém was the one to do the kick off. Cristiano Ramos scored 4-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Setúbal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jorge Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rui Setúbal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Santarém in the 64th minute of the match. After 73 minutes of play, SC Salgueiro's Gaspar Santarém made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Setúbal was left in no man's land by his defense there! João Lisboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. António Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carbuelo's Alberto Lima suffered a sore knee after 78 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gustavo Freitas's late challenge caught a Carbuelo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Freitas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, SC Salgueiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Freitas to maneuver through the defense. João Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carbuelo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
