Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Amorim started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Gravateira got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Leão. The audience was convinced that João Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emílio Lisboa was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Abitureiras's zone, Duarte Bessa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Costa came out of the goal and Duarte Bessa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Abitureiras's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Torres came free, but Emanuel Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Brito struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Emílio Lisboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abitureiras. Emílio Lisboa didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 33 minutes into the game, Duarte Bessa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Emanuel Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Brito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emílio Lisboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. João Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Tiago Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gravateira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abitureiras the free kick. After some careless play in the Gravateira defense, Daniel Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emílio Lisboa. The Gravateira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emílio Lisboa should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tiago Torres made the kick off in the second half. João Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duarte Bessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th match minute, Abitureiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Campos to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Daniel Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 66 in the game by Duarte Bessa from a close distance when the talented Emanuel Costa managed to make a qualified save. Abitureiras's players were relieved. In the 68th minute Daniel Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Lisboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emílio Lisboa came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Abitureiras's Daniel Brito. But to his dismay, Daniel Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The supporters of Gravateira booed when Abitureiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Emanuel Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Magalhães's late challenge caught a Gravateira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raul Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Raul Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duarte Bessa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tiago Torres might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiago Torres ran back to his position shaking his head. Manuel Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Abitureiras's Raul Magalhães got a free kick in the 89th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Duarte Bessa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gravateira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duarte Bessa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Amorim struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Emílio Lisboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abitureiras. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Abitureiras had won after a very even match.
