Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Mateus's Tomás Pereira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. João Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the game, Inácio Nunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quimbres FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mateus the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Quimbres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Nunes to maneuver through the defense. José Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. João Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Pereira in the 13th minute of the match. In the 20th minute José Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Fernandes came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Quimbres FC's Alberto Viegas. But to his dismay, Alberto Viegas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Tomás Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armindo Porto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Tomás Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Viegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cláudio Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute Armindo Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateus's Tomás Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Amorim made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when José Rocha sent off a good shot on target. Alberto Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Fernandes having to interfere. José Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. João Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Quimbres FC's goalkeeper João Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Tomás Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Pereira in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Rocha got free with João Amorim in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomás Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. João Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Quimbres FC had won after a very even match.
