Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Filipe Trindade took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filipe Trindade in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Brás saved Sanguedo FC from getting behind. If André Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Brás showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Trindade in the 8th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Henrique Borba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Janelas's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Borba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomás Brás made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Borba in the 14th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, André Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanguedo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If André Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th match minute, Janelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Trindade to maneuver through the defense. If Amílcar Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Marques hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Sanguedo FC's Sandro Cabral tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Amílcar Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Eusébio Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Sanguedo FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when André Marques made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Henrique Borba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Janelas's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Borba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute André Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adelino Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Brás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Trindade, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Amílcar Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amílcar Azevedo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eusébio Ferreira firmly grabbed it by the left post. Janelas's Filipe Trindade got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Brás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Trindade in the 72nd minute of play. Janelas's Eusébio Ferreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Janelas from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Sanguedo FC's zone, Filipe Trindade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Brás came out of the goal and Filipe Trindade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Filipe Trindade sped through Sanguedo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomás Brás. Sanguedo FC's Tomás Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Borba in the 96th minute of play.
