Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when André Garcia took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Lourenço Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santiais's protests and gave Lourenço Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. After 2 played minutes Santiais got a freekick which was hit by Lourenço Cunha. Lourenço Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, Manuel Brito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santiais fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gaspar Veiga hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Lourenço Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaspar Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, SC Bacal's Afonso Araújo got a free kick in the 29th minute. Carlos Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Azevedo having to interfere. When Jaime Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Bacal's protests and gave Jaime Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes SC Bacal got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pinheiro. If André Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Santiais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Aleixo to maneuver through the defense. Gaspar Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Campos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Azevedo having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jorge Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Brito in the 53rd minute of play. Lourenço Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Figueiredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lourenço Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, SC Bacal's Amadeu Pinheiro got a free kick in the 58th minute. The supporters of Santiais booed when SC Bacal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Lourenço Cunha notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SC Bacal's Jorge Figueiredo. Jorge Figueiredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Lourenço Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Carlos Campos came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the SC Bacal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Campos couldn't finish the play. A hard shot by Amadeu Pinheiro from long distance, 86 minutes into the match, got Gaspar Azevedo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 91 played minutes Santiais got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Amaral. After a defensive mix-up in SC Bacal's zone, Lourenço Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Figueiredo came out of the goal and Lourenço Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Santiais players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
