Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Óscar Setúbal took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Óscar Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Resende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Lima during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Telhais booed when Filhagosa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonçalo Garcia went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 13th match minute, Telhais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Assunção to maneuver through the defense. Óscar Setúbal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Telhais's zone, Óscar Setúbal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Resende came out of the goal and Óscar Setúbal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Abel Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, André Cardoso sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Telhais's Abel Resende didn't even have to move. After some careless play in the Filhagosa FC defense, Gonçalo Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Costa. The Filhagosa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Costa should have stopped the shot. Marco Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Assunção in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Heitor Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Filhagosa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heitor Moreira couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Filhagosa FC's zone, Gonçalo Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Costa came out of the goal and Gonçalo Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Óscar Setúbal might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Resende. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Óscar Setúbal ran back to his position shaking his head. Óscar Setúbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Resende having to interfere. Daniel Assunção kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Fernando Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Resende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Telhais getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. André Miranda hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Filhagosa FC's André Cardoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Resende narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mário Assunção who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Marco Costa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gonçalo Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Marco Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonçalo Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Gonçalo Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Telhais's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonçalo Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristiano Monteiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Marco Costa made a huge save. Telhais's Abel Resende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Neves in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Telhais eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
