In the 20th minute, Vasco Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afonso Luz came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Coelhoso FC's Vasco Miranda. But to his dismay, Vasco Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Abelheira getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Lourenço Pires hit a great ball. Coelhoso FC's Alfredo Paredes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Coelhoso FC from getting a goal against them. Nuno Dias hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Diamantino Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Filipe Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Abelheira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Baptista couldn't finish the play. Coelhoso FC's Alfredo Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Santos in the 37th minute of play.
