Oliveira Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lourenço Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Rocheira getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Cândido Branco hit a great ball. Júlio Dias got in the 12th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Eduardo Delgado handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar.
