Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ricardo Coimbra took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Tomás Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almeara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Brás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mário Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Coimbra in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mário Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardo Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Mário Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Costa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Almeara FC's Jaime Assis got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute Tomás Brás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rafael Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute of the match, Rafael Valente tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alexandre Moutinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Brás in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mário Costa saved SC Pincaes from getting behind. In the 20th minute, José Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Coimbra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mário Costa was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Vítor Cabral hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes, Almeara FC's Eusébio Correia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mário Costa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Almeara FC reached it. After 31 played minutes SC Pincaes got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Lisboa. Mário Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Brás in the 33rd minute of play. If Tomás Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Almeara FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eusébio Correia hit a great ball. In the 46th minute Ricardo Coimbra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mário Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Brás, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Rafael Valente made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Valente in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Moutinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafael Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Moutinho having to interfere. Alexandre Moutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Valente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Valente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 minutes, Manuel Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almeara FC and the SC Pincaes players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Almeara FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Manuel Gomes hit a great ball. When Manuel Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the SC Pincaes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Abreu couldn't finish the play. Alexandre Moutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Rafael Valente struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Alexandre Moutinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Pincaes. Tomás Brás scored 0-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mário Costa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomás Brás might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mário Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Brás ran back to his position shaking his head. Manuel Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Almeara FC's Alexandre Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Araújo in the 89th minute of play. Mário Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Coimbra, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
