Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexandre Miranda started the match with the kick off. Morros's Alexandre Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaspar Lisboa during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, Gaspar Lisboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Morros's goalkeeper Cláudio Torres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armindo Lisboa scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Tavares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Povoenca's Manuel Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Miranda in the 21st minute of play. Cláudio Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrique Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Manuel Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, SC Povoenca's Manuel Tavares got control of the ball when Armindo Lisboa tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Simão Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Morros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simão Tavares couldn't finish the play. Armindo Lisboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Carneiro's late challenge caught a Morros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Carneiro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SC Povoenca getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. David Carneiro hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes, SC Povoenca's Filipe Fonseca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cláudio Torres came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Povoenca reached it. After 41 minutes, Simão Tavares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morros and the SC Povoenca players grew even worse after the yellow card. Simão Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Daniel Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, André Moutinho made a precise shot to the right of Cláudio Torres. Morros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henrique Carvalho to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Armindo Lisboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morros's supporters rose to their feet, but Armindo Lisboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th match minute, SC Povoenca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Leiria to maneuver through the defense. Armindo Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Tavares having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Miranda in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Tavares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SC Povoenca's Manuel Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Miranda in the 74th minute of play. Humberto Branco hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Morros's zone, Daniel Leiria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cláudio Torres came out of the goal and Daniel Leiria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henrique Carvalho in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cláudio Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Simão Tavares hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Morros were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Povoenca for a fine match.
