When Diamantino Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Chapa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Carneiro couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Cunha in the 26th minute of play forced Leira's goalkeeper Pedro Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raul Coelho in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. David Fernandes made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Vieira in the 32nd minute. Pedro Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, João Vieira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of David Fernandes, passed just outside the right post. After 36 minutes, Raul Coelho made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Chapa FC's David Fernandes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Leira's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
