SC Segude were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after SC Temadias's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Diamantino Gonçalves took the corner. Basílio Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Marques in the 29th minute of play. Basílio Soares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from António Oliveira went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Paiva in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diogo Coimbra saved SC Temadias from getting behind. António Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Basílio Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diamantino Henriques during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, SC Segude was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Henriques to maneuver through the defense. After the first half SC Temadias were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Gaspar got free with Basílio Soares in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diogo Coimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Temadias's zone, Joel Coelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo Coimbra came out of the goal and Joel Coelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to SC Temadias getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cristóvão Machado hit a great ball. Diamantino Gonçalves was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Joel Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Basílio Soares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Diamantino Henriques hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Jorge Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Diogo Coimbra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Segude's Diamantino Gonçalves couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Temadias. The SC Segude supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Temadias's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Temadias.
