In the 18thth minute of the game Joel Coelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lazarim FC's Fernando Miranda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Artur Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Lazarim FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Queirós couldn't finish the play. If Artur Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Artur Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joel Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Miranda having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, SC Segude's Adolfo Paiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Miranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mário Fernandes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basílio Soares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Mário Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Soares having to interfere. Artur Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Soares having to interfere. Fernando Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Paiva in the 54th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Segude fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Lazarim FC a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Simão Faro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Segude's Basílio Soares. 1-0. After 66 minutes of play, Lazarim FC's Mário Fernandes made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basílio Soares was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 72 minutes, Artur Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lazarim FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basílio Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mário Fernandes's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Artur Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mário Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Lazarim FC fans jumped to their feet.
