Bruno Paredes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 6th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Macoida getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Raul Coimbra hit a great ball. Henrique Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 14thth minute of the game Fábio Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macoida's Domingos Assunção was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Domingos Assunção made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Almeida in the 15th minute of play. Simão Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Macoida booed when Curvos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Moniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Macoida's Jorge Bessa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Curvos FC. In the 32nd minute, Rui Moniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute Fábio Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Assunção saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Curvos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by António Jesus in the 37th minute. Curvos FC's António Jesus was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Domingos Assunção in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bruno Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pedro Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Curvos FC's Rui Moniz got a free kick in the 45th minute. When Simão Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Macoida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simão Cardoso couldn't finish the play.

Simão Cardoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrique Dias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Henrique Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Paredes in the 69th minute of play. Jorge Morais hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Alberto Pinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Curvos FC's Henrique Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Paredes in the 78th minute of play. After some careless play in the Curvos FC defense, Simão Cardoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrique Dias. The Curvos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrique Dias should have stopped the shot. Curvos FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
