Sargacal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Miguel Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Luís Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Regueirinha FC's Luís Borba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Trindade in the 24th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Trindade during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sargacal FC's Miguel Trindade got a free kick in the 28th minute. Luís Borba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Trindade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeu Anjos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Borba having to interfere. Amadeu Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Luís Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simão Viana's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Francisco Moniz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Trindade was the one to do the kick off. Rogério Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute of the match, Miguel Trindade tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luís Borba saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luís Borba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Trindade in the 55th minute of the match. Amadeu Anjos took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Borba. After a defensive mix-up in Sargacal FC's zone, Gustavo Pedroso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Moniz came out of the goal and Gustavo Pedroso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Artur Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogério Moreira charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogério Moreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes, Regueirinha FC's Emílio Pinheiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francisco Moniz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Regueirinha FC reached it. In the 87th minute, Artur Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner ended in Emílio Pinheiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sargacal FC's Francisco Moniz did a great save.
