Luís Borba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Domingues in the 5th minute of play forced Regueirinha FC's goalkeeper Luís Borba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Regueirinha FC's goalkeeper Luís Borba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diamantino Moniz. Lúcio Anjos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Paiva hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 17thth minute of the game Simão Viana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Espeses's Lúcio Anjos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joaquim Figueiredo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Pedroso in the 21st minute of play forced SC Espeses's goalkeeper Lúcio Anjos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emílio Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, SC Espeses's Diamantino Moniz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Borba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Domingues in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Borba saved Regueirinha FC from getting behind. Regueirinha FC's Gustavo Pedroso got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Matias's late challenge caught a Regueirinha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Matias helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, SC Espeses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Matias to maneuver through the defense. Diamantino Moniz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Borba having to make a save. Nuno Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Luís Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Nuno Domingues made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Domingues in the 52nd minute of play forced Regueirinha FC's goalkeeper Luís Borba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Espeses were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Regueirinha FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fábio Barbosa took the corner. José Matias was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 57th minute Diamantino Moniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Borba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Figueiredo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Rogério Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Simão Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Regueirinha FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
