Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Emanuel Anjos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bostofrio FC's Afonso Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Anjos in the 4th minute of play. Bostofrio FC's Lúcio Amaro got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 8 minutes, Lúcio Amaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bostofrio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio Amaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Encoberta's Xavier Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amílcar Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gil Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Bostofrio FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Cabral. In the 21st minute, Xavier Magalhães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amílcar Matias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gil Esteves having to make a save. In the 34th minute Amílcar Matias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Amaro in the 35th minute of play forced SC Encoberta's goalkeeper Gil Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonso Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Anjos, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Bostofrio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Anjos came free, but Afonso Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Bostofrio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. Xavier Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Branco having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lúcio Amaro was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Paulo Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 58 in the game by Amílcar Matias from a close distance when the talented Gil Esteves managed to make a qualified save. SC Encoberta's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Bostofrio FC's Lúcio Amaro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gil Esteves. That made the score 0-1 after 59 minutes of play. Gil Esteves made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Amílcar Matias sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Bostofrio FC's Simão Brás got a free kick in the 71st minute. If Amílcar Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Xavier Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Afonso Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Anjos in the 82nd minute of the match. Xavier Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Branco having to interfere. A collision led to Bostofrio FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Simão Brás hit a great ball. Simão Brás got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 91 minutes into the game, Pedro Nunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bostofrio FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Encoberta the free kick. The supporters of SC Encoberta booed when Bostofrio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The SC Encoberta supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bostofrio FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Bostofrio FC.
