Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lourenço Araújo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Lourenço Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diogo Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lourenço Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 minutes, Rafael Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cabracao FC and the Finzes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 8 played minutes Cabracao FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Machado. Diogo Luz came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Finzes's Paulo Setúbal. But to his dismay, Paulo Setúbal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lourenço Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Diogo Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Finzes got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Matias. When Carlos Amaro came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Cabracao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Amaro couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Ricardo Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Finzes's Lourenço Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diogo Luz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulo Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Diogo Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lourenço Araújo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Diogo Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Finzes. Diogo Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasco Matias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Finzes were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Cabracao FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emanuel Santarém took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Viriato Veiga managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Amaro to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Finzes got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Melo. In the 56th minute Amadeu Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Assunção saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Setúbal struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Diogo Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Finzes. Diogo Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Araújo in the 65th minute of play. Cabracao FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lourenço Araújo 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Diogo Luz had great luck who in the 74thth minute grab hold of the ball when Lourenço Araújo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Lourenço Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Setúbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Cabracao FC's Diogo Luz got control of the ball when Paulo Setúbal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amadeu Teixeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jaime Assunção having to make a save. The supporters of Cabracao FC booed when Finzes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bento Lisboa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jaime Assunção. Finzes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match was over Finzes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cabracao FC throughout the match.
