Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Artur Sá started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Lourenço Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Rodrigues. SC Espinhel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lourenço Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 6 minutes in the game, Cláudio Santarém dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Cláudio Santarém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Lourenço Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Rodrigues was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Artur Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Rodrigues having to interfere. Luís Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Santarém, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lourenço Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When Algar FC's Cláudio Santarém in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Espinhel's goalie prevented a goal. In the 31st match minute, Algar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Matos to maneuver through the defense. Sandro Monteiro charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro Monteiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38th play minutes Lourenço Costa shot 1-2, a short shot which went by David Rodrigues and just under the crossbar into goal. When Lourenço Costa came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Algar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lourenço Costa couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Oliveira Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lourenço Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Cláudio Santarém made the kick off in the second half. Lourenço Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Santarém, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Cláudio Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Rodrigues having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lourenço Costa got free with David Rodrigues in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SC Espinhel's David Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Santarém in the 62nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Matos during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Francisco Matos hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. David Rodrigues didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lourenço Costa went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Algar FC's Pedro Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Teixeira in the 76th minute of play. Pedro Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Sá in the 82nd minute of the match. Luís Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87thth minute of the game Cláudio Santarém who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Espinhel's David Rodrigues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Sá in the 89th minute of the match. Pedro Rodrigues came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by SC Espinhel's Artur Sá. But to his dismay, Artur Sá quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Artur Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
